Community Participation Supports (CPS)
ProBerco provides opportunities and support for consumers to engage with their community through its CPS program. DSPs assist individuals in a variety of integrated activities that align with the individuals’ goals and interests. CPS aims to help individuals live more fulfilling lives as active members in their community. Activities may include visiting local businesses, shopping centers, and parks, or joining clubs and taking classes. Many individuals receive satisfaction in giving back to their community as volunteers for local nonprofit organizations, which is another way that ProBerco helps individuals become engaged in their community and lead meaningful lives that make a difference.
Individuals attend the Community Participation Supports facility and from there, ProBerco provides the necessary transportation for them.

Deaf/Hard of Hearing Socialization Room
This activity room is thoughtfully designed to support the unique needs of adults with intellectual disabilities who are deaf or hard of hearing. The activity room is a welcoming and inclusive space designed to foster communication, learning, and social interaction. Staff and participants promote the learning and use of American Sign Language (ASL) throughout their daily routine and activities. ProBerco aims to create a space where everyone feels comfortable, engaged, and empowered with the ability to communicate freely with their peers. The walls are adorned with strategically placed mirrors, colorful ASL posters, and charts that display common signs and phrases, providing constant visual reinforcement. A professional instructor conducts weekly classes for both employees and participants and often incorporates the use of games and visual aids to enhance the learning experience.
Large Event Room
Our Large Event Room is the perfect venue for a wide range of events and activities for consumers to enjoy. Whether looking to join an invigorating exercise class, enjoy live musical entertainment, participate in themed events and dinners, dancing, or relaxing during movie nights, consumers enjoy the versatility the space has to offer along with the inviting atmosphere for socializing and making new friends.
Game Room
Coming soon, ProBerco will have a Game Room. Our goal is to create an accessible and engaging Game Room specifically designed for adults with disabilities. By providing a welcoming space, we aim to enhance social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being. The Game Room will feature several gaming stations for consumers to develop their skills individually and as part of a team. Games encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity.
The Game room will also feature a VR Training program for consumers to learn activities of daily living in a fun and engaging environment.
