24th Golf Tournament to Benefit PROSPECTUS BERCO

Mother Nature reminded us on Monday, July 23rd that she is still in charge when it comes to the weather.  With the amount of rain Berks County had prior to the scheduled date of the tournament and the forecast of thunderstorms throughout the day, the tournament was postponed to Monday, August 6th.  Fortunately most golfers were still able to make this date and if not, substitutes were found.

The heat and humidity bore down upon us, but it did not dampen our spirits.  We had a successful tournament, and our hats off to the golfers and volunteers who did not let the weather spoil their day.

Dedicated volunteers for the golf tournament are ready to greet the golfers and register them for the tournament. Frances and Jereck to the left of the photo are two program participants that helped us welcome the golfers on August 6th!

None of this can be accomplished, however, without the tremendous support of our sponsors.  This year, in lieu of a “Foursome” of Supporting Sponsors, we had a “Sixsome”!
