Parrot Daze

Photographers Frank Lorah, Jared Kulm, and Tim Youse from Berks Photographic Society.

If you visit the Berks County Parrot Head Website,, you will find a Top Ten List for Joining the Berks County Parrot Head Club.  We guarantee you will chuckle as you read the amusing list of reasons, such as “Growing older, but not up!”  When you reach the Number 1 reason to join, it makes sense on why so many non-profit organizations admire and respect the Parrot Heads.  “Party with a Purpose – what could be better?”

What could be better for Prospectus Berco than to receive $14,320 in donations from the Parrot Daze Event to help us with the programs and services that we provide to more than 500 adults with intellectual disabilities?  In helping us to raise these dollars, the Parrot Heads also helped us to raise awareness in the community of what we are all about.

Our sincere appreciation to all the Parrot Heads who volunteered their time to get sponsors, obtain auction and raffle items, prepare the cuisine, market the event, put together the slide show, sell tickets, show up, work during Parrot Daze, and the list goes on.

Thank you to WHISTLE BUILDING MAINTENANCE who graciously stepped up to the plate to be our Major Sponsor.  Whistle Building Maintenance is doing an excellent job in cleaning Prospectus Berco’s corporate offices and day programs.

Our sincere thanks to the following additional sponsors for Parrot Daze:
